Duka Sepak Bola untuk Kepergian Ratu Elizabeth

Nexify - Britania Raya memasuki masa berduka. Ratu Elizabeth diumumkan meninggal dunia di usia 96 tahun, Buckingham Palace mengonfirmasi pada Kamis (8/9) waktu setempat atau Jumat (9/9) dini hari WIB.

Kondisi kesehatan Ratu Elizabeth mengalami penurunan signifikan dalam beberapa hari terakhir. Tidak dijelaskan penyakit yang diderita sang Ratu, tapi kondisinya cukup mengkhawatirkan.

Ratu sempat menerima perawatan medis intensif selama 24 jam hingga akhirnya dilaporkan meninggal dunia. Britania Raya kehilangan pemimpin mereka selama 70 tahun terakhir.

"Sang ratu meninggal dengan tenang di Istana Balmoral sore ini. Raja dan Permaisuri akan tetap di Barmoral malam ini dan akan kembali ke London besok," tulis pengumuman yang dibuat Buckingham Palace.
